Scott Mortman is a business executive and attorney with over 25 years of international experience in both established and emerging markets. In addition to representing a global corporate clientele as a lawyer, he has served for several years as a government advisor on international trade and investment. Mr. Mortman has lectured publicly on the challenges and need for increased private investment in sub-Saharan Africa. He holds a bachelors degree from Harvard University and a law degree from Fordham University.

Brenton Kuss has directed and managed multiple construction and financing projects in sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to leading Africa Growth Corporation, he managed finance teams at KPMG specializing in infrastructure, energy and natural resources. Mr. Kuss holds a bachelors degree from the University of Queensland and an MBA from both the University of Chicago and SDA Bocconi.
Dilek Macit served with distinction as a director at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. She has broad experience in devising and implementing policies for technical assistance and capacity building in emerging countries. Previously a commercial solicitor in London, Ms. Macit has advised and represented a number of companies on issues relating to corporate law issues and legal risk assessment.
Scott Gaille has extensive experience working in Africa. He is a lawyer and academic who has taught at Rice University's Graduate School of Business and the University of Chicago Law School. Mr. Gaille was an Olin Fellow in Law and Economics at the University of Chicago, where he received his law degree. He earned his bachelors degree at the University of Texas at Austin.
